I am an Associate Professor of Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, and a retailing and design professional with approximately 20 years of experience in the New York City fashion market.

My study with Dr. Eulanda Sanders of Iowa State University has recently been chosen for the Intellect Books Research Award at the 2019 International Textile & Apparel Association (ITAA) Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

My colleague Dr. Amy Dorie and I received a Best Paper Award for our research on Opinion Leadership and Market Mavenism at the American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA Conference) June 7 & 8, 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
